Codashop works directly with game publishers and helps convert free-to-play players into paying users by lowering the barrier to purchase.

Cloutboost launched multi-region Influencer campaigns supporting Codashop activations tied to major game updates and seasonal events across multiple mobile titles, including Dunk City Dynasty, Dragon Nest, and EAFC.

Challenge

Cloutboost was tasked with identifying and activating the right creators for each game featured on Codashop across seven key global regions, while ensuring that Codashop messaging was integrated seamlessly into gameplay content.

Unlike traditional game launch campaigns, the core challenge was not introducing a new title, but influencing purchase behavior within existing player communities. This required:

  • Mapping the correct creator ecosystems to each supported game
  • Adapting creator selection and messaging strategy per region
  • Ensuring integrations felt natural inside gameplay rather than promotional or disruptive

Additionally, Codashop messaging needed to be positioned as a value-add to the player experience, highlighting convenience, security, and promotional savings, without breaking immersion or reducing content authenticity.

Campaign Strategy

Codashop campaigns require a very different strategy compared to traditional game launch influencer campaigns. Codashop activations were tied directly to in-game events, new player releases, seasonal battle passes, and limited-time rewards to maximize urgency and conversion behavior.Instead of introducing a new game, the goal is to influence purchase behavior inside an existing player base. To achieve this, we focused on:
